Laurie Hartzell

Laurie Hartzell

Laurie Hartzell is a wife, mother of teenagers and an inner city pastor.  She received formal training in Spiritual Companionship from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation.  She would say that walking alongside people in their spiritual journeys is one of the greatest joys and honors of her life.

Alyson Olmstead

Alyson Olmstead

Alyson Olmstead is a wife, mother, grandmother and currently working as a certified optometric vision therapist.  She received formal training as a director from the Shalem Institute of Spiritual Formation.  Alyson has journeyed with individuals, led reflection days at Still Waters, and support groups in the community over the past fifteen years.  She is a lover of the great outdoors, and also enjoys art, music, walks in the woods and spending time with friends.

Sarah Fusté

Sarah Fusté

Sarah Fusté began receiving spiritual direction in 2001. As she experienced the gift of this listening and prayerful companionship over the years, she noticed how she was also able to offer it informally in the lives of her students and friends. Sarah is Co-director at Still Waters, wife of Rob, and in April 2009 will become a first-time mum. She finds deep joy in journeying with others on their spiritual walk.

Robert Fusté

Robert Fusté

Robert Fusté has been blessed by intentional spiritual direction since 2002. He strongly believes that while there is wisdom in the counsel of many, there can also be confusion in too many voices and a lack of ownership of one’s own spiritual journey. An “outer knowing” needs the balance of “inner knowing,” the often-undervalued wisdom one carries within through the in-dwelling Holy Spirit. Spiritual companionship is an opportunity to integrate these two “knowings” through prayerful listening, believing there’s just as much if not more wisdom in the questions as in the answers.
